The collections hold a body of works on the Caribbean presence in Britain. Highlights include materials that focus on the arrival and settlement of the 'Windrush Generation', the diasporic culture building of British-Caribbean communities and the racialised experiences of 2nd and 3rd generation Black Britons. These range from independently published activist monographs, to poetry and sociological studies.
