Profile
Fabio Camilletti is Professor of Italian Studies at the University of Warwick. His academic career took him to Pisa, Paris, Oxford, Berlin, and Birmingham, and he has held visiting positions in Pisa, Milan, and Vercelli. In 2008-10 he was a Fellow in Literature, Art History, and Psychoanalysis at the ICI Kulturlabor Berlin. He has worked extensively on Italian and European Romanticism, the Gothic, the reception of Dante in 19th-century Europe, and contemporary 'occulture'. His latest books, both published in 2024, are Spettri familiari. Letteratura e metapsichica nel secondo Novecento italiano (Milan: Unicopli) and Manzoni gotico.
