Profile

Noèlia Diaz-Vicedo is a poet, translator and academic at the Instituto Universitario de Investigación de Estudios de Género, Alicante. Her field of research centres on Spanish women's writing of the 20th century, in particular Catalan women writers. She wrote her PhD at Queen Mary, University of London which was published by the MHRA in 2014 as Constructing Feminine Poetics in the Works of the Late-20th-Century Catalan Woman Poet: Maria-Mercè Marçal. Together with Montserrat Abelló, she has translated Marçal’s posthumous poetry collection Raó del cos (The Body’s Reason), and is co-editor of the literary magazine Alba Londres: Culture in Translation.
