Catarina Lins Oliveira

Profile

Catarina Lins Oliveira is a PhD candidate in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Princeton University. Originally from Brazil, she is also a poet and the author of O teatro do mundo (2017), Na capital sul-americana do porco-light (2018), and Correio da noite (2023), among other titles. Her doctoral research examines the work and life of Brazilian poet Ana Cristina Cesar (1952–1983) from a queer perspective, and during her time at CLACS, she will focus on Cesar’s years in England. Additional research interests include cinema, sound studies, queer theory, contemporary poetry, translation, and editorial practices.
