ILAS welcomes expressions of interest from suitably-qualified applicants for the Newton International Fellowships scheme.
These awards enable early-stage postdoctoral researchers from any country outside of the UK to work at a UK research institution, with the aim of fostering long-term international collaborations. Applicants must have been awarded their PhD by the time they begin their fellowship. Fellowships are tenable for up to two years. They include a subsistence award of up to £24,000 per year, up to £8,000 per year for research expenses and a one-off payment of up to £2,000 for relocation expenses.
