Sudabeh Mohafez and Kate Roy

In this Encounter, Sudabeh Mohafez meets Kate Roy.

Sudabeh Mohafez is the author of short stories, novels and plays, and has won several awards (brennt [2010]; Das eigenartige Haus [2012]). Kate Roy is the translator of brennt and a postdoctoral Research Fellow at the IMLR's Research Centre for German & Austrian Exile Studies, specialising in contemporary German and French literature by authors with a Muslim cultural background.
