Job Opportunity: ECR in Modern Languages (Italian and/or Spanish) with Digital Humanities

The IMLR is seeking a full-time Early Career Researcher, on a fixed-term basis for two calendar years, to be responsible for fulfilling the Institute’s national mission to promote and facilitate research and public engagement in the field of Modern Languages (primarily Italian and/or Spanish) with Digital Humanities.
The appointee will convene, support and promote interdisciplinary scholarly events related to Modern Languages/Digital Humanities in conjunction with the Institute’s academic staff and administrators, create and develop new opportunities to promote scholarly work related to Modern Languages/Digital Humanities at the IMLR and external venues; and collaborate on graduate teaching and doctoral research. Candidates must have completed, or be nearing completion, a doctorate in the broad area of Modern Languages. Expertise is required in the core technical skills essential for digital research in the humanities.
