Award of 2017 Alice Emily Bithell Prize

Grace Moran has been named as the winner of the Alice Emily Bithell Prize for 2017.  The Prize, established in memory of Dr Alice Emily Bithell of Birkbeck College, is awarded annually for the best performance in modern literature papers in German at BA level.

Grace read German and English at King’s College London, and graduated at the top of her cohort with a first-class degree. She studied the full range of German literature - from Middle High German texts to the most contemporary works - alongside interdisciplinary and cultural studies approaches to German including film, consistently achieving first-class marks. She is currently working at a digital advertising agency in London.
