2018 Language Show at Olympia (9-11 November)

Now in its 30th year, Europe’s largest language event returns to Olympia in 2018 with new dates and improved talks, classes and features, the latest products and techniques, ways to learn, ways to teach as well as fun and entertainment.

The European Commission and other EU institutions will be at stand E22, providing information and materials about the European Union, including advice on language careers in the EU institutions and multilingual resources for teachers. Seminar topics include using linguistic skills to forge a career in the EU (9 November, 13.30-14.15 and 11 November, 10.45-11.30), translators in the digital era (10 November, 11.30-13.15) and why foreign languages are not a waste of young people’s time despite a world dominated by English (10 November, 15.30-16.15).
