Session leader: Sophie Stevens (ILCS)

This session will focus on how to develop collaborative working relationships with individuals, practitioners and organisations beyond the university as a way to expand research networks, engage new audiences, and create opportunities for public engagement and knowledge exchange. It will mainly focus on the cultural and education sectors. In the session we will discuss challenges and opportunities, managing expectations and ways of maintaining productive and fruitful relationships. The session will involve exchanging ideas and offer participants opportunities to reflect on how they might develop partnerships and knowledge exchange based on their current research projects.

Please note this session will involve small- and large-group discussions and those who register should be able to attend the full session and be prepared to interact with the session leader and the other participants. The initial presentation will be made available as a recording after the session.
