IBC Director, Andrea Capovilla, was interviewed by Gwendoline Choi for the latest issue of New Books in German. 

In the interview, Dr Capovilla reflects on the Ingeborg Bachmann Centre’s mission to serve as a hub for Austrian literature and culture of all periods, incorporating the contributions made by multiple streams of migration. She also expands on the relevance of the Centre’s figurehead as a cosmopolitan writer and thinker who challenged the post-war status quo and continues to inspire today’s audiences fifty years after her death.
