Chaired by Emma Cayley (UCML), this strategically focused workshop provides the opportunity to discuss important developments that affect the subject community as a whole.
The IMLR will be changing its name to the Institute of Languages, Cultures and Societies (ILCS) from 3 October 2022. Charles Burdett and Ainhoa Montoya will present the reasons behind the Institute’s change of name, its role going forward, and the strategic initiatives that it is planning. Nigel Harkness, Ed Welch and Rasha Soliman will then speak about the work of the Advisory Group in preparation of the Subject Benchmarking Statement and the importance of responding to the consultation.
