The next meeting of the London Intercollegiate Network for Comparative Studies (LINKS) will host Professor Gulnoz Iskandarovna Khallieva, as part of a wider visit to the Research Centre for Comparative Literature at Goldsmiths, University of London. She will present her books and the electronic platform “Comparative Studies”, created on the basis of a scientific project in the Ministry of Higher Education of Uzbekistan. She will also talk about the new journal "Comparative Studies" which is published at the Uzbek State University of World Languages.
The London Intercollegiate Network for Comparative Studies (LINKS), is a collaboration between London institutions involved in teaching and research in comparative literary studies, to promote dialogue and cooperation. Participating institutions include University College London, King’s College London, Goldsmiths, Queen Mary, SOAS, Birkbeck, Royal Holloway and the School of Advanced Study.
Gulnoz Iskandarovna Khallieva is Professor at the Uzbek State University of World Languages, Head of the Department of World Literature. Author of books on comparative studies in four languages, English, Turkish, Russian and Uzbek, she is also a specialist on manuscripts in ancient Turkic - Chagatai language.
