This online workshop is designed as an introduction for postgraduate students and early career scholars working in Latin American Studies or adjacent fields who are interested in plant humanities and would like to learn more about this exciting area of research.
With the aim of complementing the extensive scholarship that is already going on in this field in Latin America and the US, this session will primarily spotlight work that is taking place in the UK. We will hear from five experts about their research in Latin American plant humanities, as well as learning about collections that may be of interest for your own investigations.
