Session leaders: Dr Jamille Pinheiro Dias (ILCS)

This session provides an introduction to theoretical and methodological approaches for research in the Environmental Humanities, centering the entanglements between environmental justice, decolonial and anti-racist struggles. It will offer opportunities for critical ecological engagement, addressing how the Environmental Humanities may contribute to a future-oriented call for new imaginaries in Languages, Cultures and Societies Research.

Participants in this session will be expected to view short recordings in advance at: https://port.sas.ac.uk/mod/page/view.php?id=7846, and the live session will involve small- and large-group discussions with the session leader and the other participants.

Our events are free to attend, but booking is required. They are held online via Zoom with details about how to join the virtual event being circulated by email to registered attendees 24 hours in advance.
