This session will offer guidance and advice on developing funding proposals for languages, cultures and societies research. Rather than focusing on specific funding schemes, the session is intended to offer broader advice on developing compelling and convincing project proposals at all career stages.
The session will be led by the Institute’s Director Professor Charles Burdett, drawing on his experience of developing and leading on major funded projects such as the UK Arts and Humanities Research Council beacon project, Transnationalizing Modern Languages: Mobility, Identity and Translation in Modern Italian Cultures.
This session will involve small- and large-group discussions and those who register should be able to attend the full session.
Session Leader: Professor Charles Burdett (ILCS)
